And United are playing there.

If the Reds should play, in Rome or Mandalay...

These pre-season aways are always good I find. I'm not sure if it's because there hasn't been a United game to go to in a while, or because they are just generally a laugh but I always enjoy them. I didn't get to any last season :( but did Preston in July '06 which was great with all the Anti-Glazer protests etc. I will see if I can get something sorted :D

I was at that one with my brother, who supports Preston, but I was in the home end. My brother loved it, mainly because Preston won 2-1 and he was taking the mickey all the way home

I can imagine that wasn't too good. Even if it was a young United side PNE were still full of the 'We Beat United hahaha' attitude after the game.

One thing that stands out in my mind from that game was the atmosphere.

A video I took late on in the second half.

So anyone else doing it?

Got loads of Red Issue, few off Red News. About 200 sold in the United Terrace last time I checked.
Get yourself down ;)

You going Peterboro?

I was thinking about Aberdeen. Tickets are easy to get just off the Aberdeen website. Then there's travel.
Train's will cost the bomb, and take the mick, probably about 6 hours. Looked at flights, found one for £50 return. Really undecided.
May just save up for new season. As I am planning to do Ole's game, Peterborough and Wembley.

Going to this one, staying at the Metro Inn for the night afterward.

Dunno **** all about public transportation and/or the safety of the area, but what the hell, it is United away.

Keep the swearing to just stars mate. thanks. Jazz

Easy walk from station to the ground. Turn right out of station and follow the road around, until you go past an ASDA, then when you get to a high street, go right again, and the ground is at the bottom.

I hope you are in Moyes terrace.

Yup, in the Moyes terrace for sure. I'm getting in to Pboro around 2 or 3 in the afternoon, dropping stuff off at the hotel, then heading off to the ground. Maybe a couple before, a couple after, and call it a night.

I'm expecting it to be a relatively quiet night in the city centre as it's a Monday, so hopefully there won't be any trouble.

And sorry about the cursing Jazz, my apologies.
