With the British Grand Prix being done at Silverstone this weekend I have come over a thought.....'us normal people' get taxed for using our cars on the road (road tax, congestion charge - in London e.t.c) all so that things like global warming can be put into perspective yet all these sports cars go round a track for hours on end in circles!

My point is that does motor sport not give off more Co2 emissions then anyone of us using our cars for a year?

There are certain quotas that the cars need to go through to even be allowed to compete.

But what are you proposing that motorsport be banned? lol

erm no actually...im just sayyin that we pay taxes because the cars we use give off emissions, while 20 odd cars go round a track 50 times persumably giving off more emissions...thats all
