From the Manchester Evening News:
United Reserves 3 Northwich Vics 2

OLE Gunnar Solskjaer’s immunity from defeat since taking over as United’s reserve team boss was given a serious examination by the Blue Square Conference Premier side

But his young side eventually battled back from two goals down to keep his five-match unbeaten record intact.

Vics found themselves in the bizarre position of playing an away match on their own ground – Marston’s Arena is also United reserves’ home patch – but that didn’t deter them from racing into a two-goal lead.

Michael Barnes, one of four former United youngsters in the Vics squad, the others being Phil Marsh, Jamie Mullan and Aaron Burns, did well down the left, in the 27th minute, to give Joel Byrom the chance to put the ‘visitors’ in front.

Byrom, extended Vics lead, six minutes before the break, with a terrific shot which flew into the top corner of Ben Amos’s goal.

Brazilian youngster Fabio Da Silva put United back in the game on the stroke of half-time with a smart finish after bursting through the Vics’ defence.

Vics’ boss Dino Maamria made wholesale changes to his side for the second half which saw United battle their way to claim a highly creditable victory.

Tom Cleverley exchanged passes with Danny Drinkwater before putting United level in the 65th minute and then, six minutes later, Drinkwater struck to give United the lead.

UNITED: Amos, Derbyshire (Gray 61), F Da Silva (Cathcart 61), Eckersley, Chester, C Evans (James 61), Eikrem (Cleverley 61), Drinkwater, Macheda (Norwood 76), Hewson, Brandao (Stewart 46).
Substitute not used: Zieler.
------------

So Fabio scored then, hopefully we'll see him in the first team soon. Well done Ole.

Does anyone know when they'll start showing the reserves on MUTV?

According to a guy on another forum Fabio's goal was said to be brilliant. We'll probably hear more about it either on Manutd.com or on MUTV.

And Fabio scores, get in :) What a player he will become.
Great for Ole to keep his unbeaten start as a manager.
Maybe he has the Midas touch?

Cheers for the update TM. No idea when MUTV will start showing the
reserves but Id say it will be when the season starts.
Watching the reserves will be more exciting this year than most,
with all the exciting young lads coming in, especially the Samba boys ;)

I'm not sure. I think they will be shown somewhere, but it could be a pig to find them because I don't think reserve matches would be that popular over the internet.

This match wasn't shown on MUTV unfortunately.

I'll get links up here for them if I manage to find them, if I ever manage to get them.

Hope to see a good bit of the reserves this year...

expect a few of those to be drafted out on loan. A lot of old United players who will be tapping fergie for a favour or two.

I don't think the twins, Pettrucci, Wellbeck or Macheda will.

Cathcart and Rodrigo will hopefully go out on loan somwhere. Rodrigo could go to a premiership side IMO.
