Hi guys, I wonder if You can help me...

I am a big supporter of Red Devils from Poland and I would finally like to see a game live on Old Trafford.

but I have no idea how to get a ticket near the price value cause hundreds of pounds for tickets from touts are way too much for me...

I dream to visit Manchester in April for Arsenal game but I expect that getting ticket for this particular game would require 300-400 pounds and I certainly cant afford it:/

so my question is... If I will purchase One United membership would it allow me to buy tickets directly on ManUtd.com or it would be hard to get them nevertheless cause some premium members or any other will buy them before me. How many weeks before the game does the sale to One United members start?

Or maybe someone has some other idea how can I get face value tickets from abroad...? Maybe someone would make ma a favour and book one ticket for me just getting my gratitude and a bottle of premium polish vodka/wine in exchange :D

cheers

Arsenal game will be impossible pratically. Even for regulars.

I recommend another game; but if you want to try you can. No OU member has priority over another. We're all in the same boat.

You can easily pick up a spare for most games barring Liverpool, Man City, Chelsea and Arsenal.

I noticed that there are many tickets at http://manutd.viagogo.com/ always available... but I suppose that I need to be One United member to buy there? how much does it cost? maybe some member would be so kind to buy a ticket for me and I would collect it before the game from him? :)

One United membership is £25 and is needed to buy from the ticket exchange.

No need to go through touts, easy enough to get briefs for most games except the dippers, city, arsenal and chelsea.

There are usually loads kicking around, you just need to know who to ask ;)

If you get a ticket through manutd.com or Viagogo you will have to pick up your ticket from the ticket office because the club do not mail tickets outside the UK. So arrive well before the kick off!

Tickets for the game against Arsenal go on sale on 28th February so you have plenty of time to get your One United membership, but as already mentioned you will be very lucky to get a ticket for this game.

Unfortunately, that's our only home game currently scheduled in April...so come to Manchester in March!!! We play Bolton, Liverpool and Villa at home in March.

Thank You for all your suggestions...

there is one more question which comes to my mind;) How does the situation look like in case of champions league games? Are tickets also impossible to get and much more expensive? And where can they be bought? only on oficiall site or on some market as well? Cause flight tickets during the midweek are cheaper so I would be able to spend more money for the ticket then:D

You will get one face value. Although ticket prices rise for an extra couple of quid per round we progress in.

One United will get you a ticket for the home game at Lyon.

I registered with eOU but i don't know where can I now buy the membership? Yesterday it redirected my to some I think ticket reservation panel where I was able to bus hospitality packages and membership as well (price for EU members is 31 not 25 as written above) but today I lost track of that site and I have no idea where to go to purchase it? can anyone help?

Ignore that bit mate, what you need to do is find the individual match that you want to attend and click on that.

Be aware that only tickets that have been released as for sale to one united members will be available.

As for Viago, be prepared to pay around an extra £17 on top of your ticket. These are legalised touts and charge a postage fee and a booking fee.

Hope that helps

They'll refund the postage fee because he lives outside the UK. He'd have to pick his ticket up from the ticket office before the game.

all hotels in the vicinity will have guide books/maps,they will also call you a taxi if needed but it's not that far,bus would be cheaper just make sure you get on the right one and don't end up anywhere shall we say, unsociable.

Yeah thats the one, takes about 20 minutes, they'll be quite a few getting off that stop so don't worry about anything. Grounds about 10 minutes walk from there but you will be able to see the stadium from there, the trams are as said every 12 minutes from there so timing isnt that big an issue

All of United's home league games in March were changed from Saturday to Sunday so they could be shown on TV.

However, if we beat Arsenal in the FA Cup then we are scheduled to play the 6th round of the FA Cup on the weekend we're supposed to be playing Bolton. This means the Bolton fixture will have to be rearranged. They won't announce a new date until after the game against Arsenal.

I'm waiting to find out too because I have applied for tickets to the Bolton game.

Many people recently have been wondering how to get tickets for up-coming
games from manutd.com.

A quick word of advice for those who do not travel to Old Trafford much, but the
online ticket exchange feature is a brilliant way to get cheap tickets.

Fair enough, you won't be finding much for games against Arsenal, Liverpool,
Chelsea etc...

This is a fantastic place and should be checked regularly for available tickets.

I'd say that 70%-80% of the tickets I've ever got were ordered from the exchange site.

Its called Viagogo, and is very safe.

Link= http://manutd.viagogo.com/

And this is their main home page where to can obtain tickets for other sporting
events and concerts etc...

Link= http://www.viagogo.com/

If anyone has any questions, don't hesitate to ask...:)

Hi there,

is there anyone out there probably could tell me where to buy a match ticket for a home match of Man Utd.

If possible, could anyone tell me how much it cost likely? May be let say a match between Man Utd vs Liverpoool next March.

I am now planning to arrange such trip all the way from Malaysia. Appreciate if someone can tell:D

First of all,

Welcome aboard! ;)

Secondly, have a look at the different forums and sub-forums on this site before posting.

You should probably contact our resident ticketing expert Stephen vie Private Message.
If not, I'm pretty sure, you can arrange to buy tickets and tour packages through Man utd's official website at ManUtd.com and if I'm not mistaken, Malaysia Airlines used to do packages too. Air travel, match tickets and accomodation.

Depends what game you want to go to.

One United is the obvious/easiest way.

Some games also go on general sale.

If you can't get them from the club then there willl be tickets about for face value on the forums.

Hi, have same problem here with the OP.

Me and my friends, 5 people, got a very cheap flight to UK on November. None of us ever visit Old Trafford, and we'd like to go there and watch a match. They have a match vs Stoke City on 15 November.

Since none of us will likely have the opportunity to watch another match this season, being a One United Member is out of question. From what I read in this forum, it'll leave us 2 options:
1. buy from the touts
2. buy when ticket go to general sale.

Questions:
1. Is there any other option? I mean, is it possible that we arrive in Manchester on match day and find a face value ticket? Where can we get it? Is the ticket office open on the match day?
2. When usually ticket go to general sale? Is there any possibility that this match home vs Stoke will go to general sale?

Hope anyone can help us... Thanks a million...

Yes, it's right. I bought a £42 ticket which the admin fees was £20.5 which was almost 50% of the ticket's value. :(

I am from Hong Kong and I watched a match at OT on last Sat, 27 Sep. Let me share what I'd thought of.

Buying from touts is not suggested. Being overseas guys, we may not have enough skills to identify if the tickets are valid or fake. On that day I saw a lot of touts outside tickets office. (PS: Ticket office opens on the match day to sell tickets, if available.) Even though high chance of getting 5 tickets from touts, it is another uncertainty that the tickets would allow you to sit together.

From the match I watched, there are plenty of tickets available on the match day. However, I didn't want to have uncertainty so that I got to buy tickets from an official ticket exchange platform: viagogo, the 3rd option to get tickets.

Be attention that each One United membership is only allowed to buy 1 ticket from viagogo. As you have 5 ppls, it is not very sophisticated to join 5 memberships in order to get five tickets from viagogo.

Buying tickets in general sales has no need to be One United members. From the game against Bolton, the GS was ready 1 week before the match. And, it is no guarantee on the choice of seating plan.

According to many mates here, it seems to be hard to get tickets of the matches played among MU, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea.

There is an official website from UK tourist authority, http://www.visitbritain.com/

Find your country in this website, and they may have provide some information about "how to buy football match tickets" in your country.

I am from Hong Kong where has "British Council" which does provide this information about buying tickets from overseas. Perhaps you can contact your local British embassy which should be able to answer your question.
