I watched the Bolton v United game, from Leyland FC, on mutv. The weather was that bad it didn't allow for a freely flowing game and many tackles were actually players slipping. There was a 20 min downpour towards the end of the first half and more rain in the second.

Cleverley scored both goals, the first was a wrong foot shot that went through a few into the net after others tried and failed, and the second was amazing!!

A Bolton winger has the ball, but facing his own goal, out on the far wing, about 10 yards short of the half way line. Cleverley ran up to him, took the ball off him, ran on a few yards and then, spotting the keeper was out of the goal, lobbed it from the wing, across the penalty area and into the net!!! Superb!

Bolton have only 2 points all season whilst United are now level with Liverpool and Man City in 4th. Sunderland continue to rule at the top.

We left it VERY late though, both goals coming in the last few minutes.....
As you said RD, the weather was a joke. I felt miserable just watching it.
We have been doing well because so many of our reserve players have been sold or have gone out on loan, so a lot of youth players have stepped up to the reserves, which is a great education for them.
It was nice to see young Sam Hewson with the captains armband. Its funny how much he looks like Rooney.....the spit of eachother.

oh....for this match...he was playing for the oman national team that lost to bahrain, but I mean does he play for the reserves regularly.? Anyways, why there is a lot of talk about him is because bayern seems to be really interested in him at the moment... is he really that good?
