Fantasy Betting Intro & How to

Welcome to the Fantasy Betting forum

We will regularly be posting various events for members to bet on, win/lose/draw first scorer, etc etc. This is just a bit of fun with no real cash or prizes involved at the moment.
Everyone starts off with 500 'vCash' credits and you can bet them as you like. Just like 'real' gambling, if you pick a safe option you won't win as much but then your chances of winning are higher. Go for an outsider and although you're not as likely to win, you can make far more if your gamble pays off.

How does it work?

When you view a topic in the Fantasy Betting forum/or betting link at the top of the page you will see a list of possible bets at the top of the page.
The table shows the outcome (who you're putting your vCash on), the odds (see 'how much do I win?' below), the total bets (how many other members have bet on each option) and finally the total staked (how much vCash has been staked overall on each option). Once you've decided who you want to bet on, enter the amount you'd like to bet in the 'stake' column and click the 'bet now' button.

How much do I win?

Your winnings depend on what you put in and the odds of the option you've chosen. Odds are displayed in fractions and decimals next to each option.

Example: If you placed a bet of 20 credits on an option with the odds 2/1 or 2.0 you would get back the 20 you put in plus 40 new credits (2.0 times what you put in).
