stephen hunt would be possible, with sinclair on loan. i dont think ireland and richard dunne would want to leave city chasing an uefa cup spot for a sunderland fighting relegation battle.

forlan wouldnt forsake european competition for relegation battle too.

fortune, another ex manutd player, but i think he's past it.

andrew surman? have potential but definitely not the quality sunderland need for now.

james beattie? are you joking!

bullard and arca wouldnt be allowed to leave their respective clubs.

Who says Sunderland will be battling relegation? Yes, they have been this season, but if Keane makes the right signings and they blend in, they can be fighting for Europe imo.

I think that Surman is a good player, and would be a good signing for Keane. He has plenty of potential and going to Sunderland would only improve him as a player.

I would agree. I don't think Forlan will sign imo. European football is too strong a pull for him to leave.

I would agree with you there.

Why not? I think Middlesbrough would allow Arca to leave if they got the right offer. Although I can't see Bullard being allowed to leave Fulham as he is one of their best players and links up very well with Danny Murphy
