Southampton whizkid Gareth Bale admits he loves playing for Wales alongside his hero - Ryan Giggs.

Bale said: "It's great to be playing with Ryan. I always felt he was my favourite player when I was a youngster.

"I watched him on TV and I remember when he scored that goal in the FA Cup against Arsenal. Things like that and the way he runs at defenders were favourite moments.

"Now to be playing with him, I can't ask for much more really. I don't think I'll be asking to take the free-kicks off him - he is Ryan Giggs!"

There has been plenty of speculation about where the full back will be in 12 months' time and the possibility of being Giggs' club colleague at Manchester United is a real one.

i think if bale went 2 OT it would b a good deal 4 the club. going 2 become a good player.

What puzzles me is that why did'nt he go to Manchester United when he had the chance, if his boyhood hero is Giggs then why doesn't he jump at the chance? Anyone would die at the chance to play alongside a hero. His manager George Burley probably licked his arse for him to stay.
