he was on the bench reading the newspaper and got a terrible paper cut.
he lost 2 pints of blood, fainted and cracked his head on the floor.
The paramedics were just able to save him in time, but he got a slight tear
in his hamstring as he was being transported to the ambulance. he should
resume light training in 2 weeks.....

I posted earlier that keano was the man I miss the most. Eric a close 2nd.

Garnet mentioned Romario, who happes to be one of my all time fave players.
I still wear the barca jersey with his name on the back from donkeys years ago.
I also miss the likes of Zidane, Gazza, Ole and Baggio.

Maradona, 1990 World cup was the first time i saw a football event of any sort. I was 10 then and from that moment on I was glued to the TV watching every moments of football I could. Sadly India did not have any football on television except the world cup. Wish i could have seen more of him.
