I come from a small town in Ireland which is heavily populated with Liverpool fans. Given the start to the league that they have had I was expecting to hear the usual amount of c**p from them that they usually talk. They seem to think they will be contending for the PL every year before the season starts. But even though they are on top of the league, most of the games played without Torres, any of them I talk to are convinced they wont last the distance. To be honest I dont really believe they will stick it out either, but why do you think they have no faith... or confidence

i thought it was great last night that they were rewarded for rising to the top of the table by being booed by their own fans

They have no confidence, because they've never won the Premier League, and this is the deepest in the season I can EVER remember them being on top of the table.

perhaps because theya re not as stupid as alot of you think, they have never looked like winning the league and have been fairly lucky so far this season (something most liverpool fans would agree with). What is the point of building yourslef up when really you are not in with a great chance of doing anything. If united where in the same situation i would be calling half the fans idiots for thinking we where favourites or going to win the title.

I found it interesting to watch You're on Sky Sports on Monday.

There were A LOT of Liverpool fans saying Rafa wasn't the right man for the job, Keane isn't good enough, their squad doesn't have enough quality and they rely too heavily on Gerrard and Torres.

Sounded like they knew what they were talking about.
