Same Old Liverpool

Now I really wish Standard Liege knocked them out of Europe.

http://www.irishtimes.com/newspaper/...218691188.html

Quote:
LIKE A group of starstruck fans, three Standard Liege players, including their American defender Oguchi Onyewu and forward Dieudonne Mbokani, knocked on the door of the Liverpool dressing-room on Wednesday night after the Champions League qualifying game between the teams and asked the kitman, who came to the door, if they could swap their shirts with three Liverpool players.

The trio handed their shirts to the kitman, who disappeared back in to the dressing-room, and waited in the corridor. Five minutes later he reappeared and handed their shirts back to them, informing them that none of the Liverpool players wanted them, so there'd be no swapping.

The three walked away, with a less than impressed Onyewu noting a certain lack of respect from their hosts.

Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has revealed he wants to manage the Anfield club one day and knock Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson "off his perch". (Daily Mirror)

is this coincidence or is it just me. Remember when cantona came back from his ban against liverpool and cantona had a rememorable season. And now we have the berbatov coming from a controversial swoop and his first game against liverpool.

WOW, its going to be something, only if it was at OT.

i hate it when poeple say its the 60 million dollar question, 'when will liverpool ever win the epl'? but now if that was the case everyone would win the 60 million dollars because the answer is just NEVER.
