Caliph Hughes have the transfer funds to buy both Buffon and Akinfeev if they would want to move to Stadium of broken dreams. Its clever thinking of buying an experienced keeper to start with and when Gigi retires they go for another experienced keeper. But the plan doesnt look to hold water.

You can mock Taibi as much as you want. Mark Bosnich is ten times worse...and we signed him TWICE! Thats a proof that Fergie isnt always right.

So for me, its impossible to rate Buffon higher that him based on events in the last 12 months.

surely Casillas will be rated best goalkeeper of the year because of those success, and also high in the absolute rank (I agree, maybe 3th)..... but you know, prices don't always express the real value of a player.

I saw Real Madrid-Rome in the 1/8: it finished with a Casilla's mistake that allowed Vucinic to score the 1-2....................... I don't remember anything like that about BUFFON since long time. And I saw Casillas just in those two games, while BUFFON some hundreds

Buffon imo, is the best in the world and has been for sometime. Reflexes, size, punching ability, plus he rarely parries the ball away as he almost always catches it.
