I'd like to see United finish top every season with a keegans newcastle second all the time hahaha...that would be funny.

But really, i wouldnt mind seeing spurs break into the top 4 in place of liverpool ofcourse. I like the manager there, ramos...seems to have got all his players looking lean and i feel sorry for how they had to sell players to the bigger clubs. Would be nice for them to be successfull. They also have a young team with pace, dont mind watching them to be honest.

Honestly for me, its between 3 teams:

West Ham, Tottenham, and Fulham.

West Ham: Fantastic fans who sing great songs. Barack Obama's football club too.

Spurs: Have come the closest to doing it since Everton, and I really like a lot of their players.

Fulham: At one point had something like 5 Americans. (Keller, Bocanegra, Eddie Johnson, McBride, Dempsey plus I'm probably missing a couple.) Plus, they had George Best once!

villa or sunderland.
realistically villa are better equipped to break into the top four, the prem is getting even more competitive and teams like villa , spurs , everton and dare i say it, city, all have a good chance of overtaking for the 2 places below utd and chavski,.
arsenal and lpoo are in danger of getting caught by the chasing pack, wenger is reported to have had 30m to spend during the summer but failed to sufficiently bulk up his squad, the theory goes he is afraid to buy big name players.

rafa benitez has been given stacks of money to deliver the title, in fairness he has won the champions league.
but the fact is he has a shocking record in the transfer market with torres being a notable exception, again this summer he has spent money badly buying 2 dodgy full backs, i do think keane will come good, apart from gerrard, torres carragher and keane to a lesser extent, the rest of the squad is second rate .

my tip for fourth is villa.

It has to be Villa and Everton for me. I'd be happy for them to break the top 4, while I wouldn;t mind if it were Spurs.

I really like the way MON's team plays and the players he gets in his team. He likes to be buy players he thinks he can trust and he has a good eye for ability. He spent 10mil of Young and how good does that money spent look now?

Same with Milner.

He also buys exactly what he needs unlike Spurs for example that buy a whole midfield and not a single defender when they were leaking goals last season - even when Woodgate and King were fit.

OK, I know that defending has to be done by the whole team, but I don't think that Dos Santos, Modric and Bentley are particularly good at that.

Next would be Everton. I like David moyes as well and I like several of the Everton players especially Lescott, Arteta and the Yak.

And of course the team that should lose their top 4 place is Liverpool.

I have so many run ins with their fans, that I would luv it. Absolutely luv it, if they get thrown out of the top 4. I rememer getting so much stick when The Glazers started buying up shares and a few seasons later they were owned by yanks as well.

And to my unlimited delight their owners suck big time and are having problems building the new stadium - the very reason they were chosen as new owners as oposed to the Arab group DIC.

I cannot and will not hide my contempt for that club and I will be happier than anyone if they sink out of the CL places for a while. Maybe than we could buy Torres

Just kidding, we already have a better striker in Berbatov. Can't wait to see him play.

one side from merseyside replacing another. 2 red teams in top four is good enough.

i really want pool to be knocked out and Aston Villa to get in......
they have been very good since Martin O'Neill's arrival and with them keeping Barry they are turning into a good team...although their start is nothing to boast about.....
they have a good "English" team and with the arrival of milner it has just strengthened them........they have to take over a top 4 berth from either pool or arse......
AV has most of the english future in their team and they will be a force to reckon with!!!!

Chelsea drops out of the top 4 & gets relegated. John Terry becomes a hobo & Everton & Aston Villa make it a top 5.

That's my fantasy land. I get all warm and fuzzy thinking about it.

It would be great to see Liverpool get knocked out of the top 4.

I found an interview Gerrard gave to a Sunday newspaper very interesting. He said he would consider it a 'personal disaster' if he finished his career without a Premier League winners medal and that Liverpool must still be in contention with 10 games to go this season.

It makes me think that he'd seriously consider leaving Liverpool next summer if they finished outside the top 4.

I know some people would like to see the local rivalry between United and City taken to a new level by them breaking into the top 4 but I don't. I really don't mind who it is - Pompey, Spurs, Everton etc - as long as it's not City.
