Rumours are circling around on the Professional Darts scene (P.D.C) that atleast 1 top player is Gay &/or Bi-sexual but has been advised that he should not come out & say so as it would obviously be detremental to his game & put the game in a bad light due to ridicule.
If a top professional footballer was gay do you think he should come out & say so.?
I say he shouldn't because he will get absolutely slaughtered every game he played.

statistically, if footballers were representative of the population at large, then at least player from each team should be gay. if a respected high profile player came out, that would do much to challenge the seemingly automatic assumption that all top footballers are straight, but an ideal situation would be one where a footballer's sexuality was irrelevant one way or the other

That one with Mourinho and Lamps is hilarious, haven't seen that before.
Anyway regarding the topic, it wouldn't bother me if I found out one of our footballers was gay but I agree that he would get loads of stick, especially from opposition supporters. After all it wasn't that long ago that people were throwing banana's at black players!!!
