I think you're point was that, similar to last year, it is the manager that is helping to create this dip in form. I don't agree with that at all. Whereas last season, there was all sorts of talk about scolari losing the dressing room, there hasn't been a sniff of that this season. Essiens out, chelski are simply not as good without him.

Fair point, I think the whole Drogba situation last year was probably the biggest factor in Scolari's decline. Afterall, I reckon Drogba is even more important to them than Essien - last year Mikel did well filling in for Essien when he was injured, but if Drogba's out they haven't got a similar player to him.
