Can't wait for this game.



Many of the issues people complained about regarding Manager Mode will be solved for FIFA10. It has received a lot of attention from the development team this year. This means having more realistic results in sim matches (i.e. more realistic league table); having a more compelling transfer system; improved atmosphere, player growth, and many more.
Ball physics will be refined and problems such as the ball bouncing too fast after it hits a player will be fixed.
The defensive line will be deeper therefore the attacking team won't have such an edge resulting in a more realistic gameplay experience.
Many clubs will have team-specific Commentary and the Commentators will mention the name of the actual Cup (for licensed Cups) at the start of matches instead of just playing a generic Commentary sample as in previous Fifa games.

I'm liking the sound of a deeper defence. Sometimes it is impossible to counter the attacking speed of teams like Barcelona.

There's some good things there. I hope they also go back to the Fifa 05(ish) Manager Mode, when you could only manage the 'smaller' clubs first and had to work your way up. I liked that better than just being able to pick anyone.

I wish they would improve the be a pro mode, making your career more realistic and atmospheric...kinda like pro evo...

I hope the general physics of the game stay the same. After playing the fifa '09 demo way back it just felt right and it led to me finally purchasing another fifa game again.

The only obvious problems I'd like addressed are the auto-switching of players. I hate it whenever an opponent is making a run towards my goal and it won't allow me to switch to the best positioned player.

Just heard that in Fifa 10, you will be able to see the actual managers by the sideline, only for the top clubs though, others get generic managers.

All those little tweaks sound good.

Manager Mode is the best bit of FIFA but it did need refining. I always buy the latest FIFA game and this time will be no different.

According to play.com the release date is Friday 2nd October.

I hate the live season, wish I'd never put it on.

It's stupid I went as United online and the stats are shocking, everyone was downgraded bar about 3/4 players who weren't worth starting anyway.

yeah, but how much of an effect does it actually have? i honestly don't seem to notice the difference! i played the likes of ronaldo and berba in the high 70's or early 80's, and they seemed just as well, i thought it was just for show?

I think in the Free Roam they should let you play with your friends, Play head's and v's, single's, double's or use the whole Free Roam pitch for a match etc. They should take some idea's into account because the game need's to be improved and they need to bring a feature that is amazing on it so it wow's everyone and more people will buy it and at the end of the day everyone's happy.

The thing that i hate on Fifa is if you hit a belter and it's flying into the top corner the keeper just jump's up and catch's the ball like it didn't even test him that piss' me off but on Pes if it's going in top corner then it goes in top corner 9 times out of 10.

haha this one made me laugh, Head's and Volleys and Singles and Doubles, what an idea son, i always play them, haha that would actually be awesome !!
