I've just started playing FM08. I've sold Pique and Dong and brought in Obafemi Martins and Henri Saivet (16 yr old striker with World class potential).

I won 4-0 in the Community Shield against Chelsea but then lost 1-0 in the opening league fixture against them and Tevez broke his arm in that game.

Since then I'm unbeaten, including a 3-0 victory at Anfield! I'm only in September 2007 - Rooney is top scorer with 7, Martins has 4 goals in his first 4 games, Scholes has 3 and my last result was a 5-0 victory over Bolton at Old Trafford.

When Saha came back from injury I waited until his fitness was at 90% and then played him for the last 15 minutes away at Birmingham - he got injured and is out for another 2 months

i havent played saha at all. i bought huntelaar for 19m.(yes overated, but clubs like ac milan, inter milan were all after him) 2 goals in 4 matches, both headed.

poor old saha. he's not faring well even in the game. LOL

Yeah i had FM07 and i had a season with United that lasted till 2013 we won the league and CL every season i find it very easy as long as you know who your buying.

Arsenal and a bad injury to Rooney have destroyed my season.

I got knocked out of the League Cup in the 4th round, the FA Cup in the 5th round and the Champions League in the semi-finals all by Arsenal and they're 14 points clear at the top of the Prem after only losing 1 game all season - when I beat them 5-4 at Old Trafford after being 4-2 down at half-time.

Rooney broke his leg in January and is out for season.
