Glen Johnson i think is top class.... played so well last year with a run of games with Portsmouth, i think he might eventually be Englands first choice Rb.
what ya think??

Fabio Capello has named a 23-man squad for his final friendly before the World Cup qualifiers begin, with Czech Republic the opponents at Wembley on Wednesday evening.

James (Portsmouth), Robinson (Blackburn), Hart (Manchester City), Bridge (Chelsea), A Cole (Chelsea), Terry (Chelsea), Brown (Manchester United), Ferdinand (Manchester United), Johnson (Portsmouth), Woodgate (Tottenham), Upson (West Ham), Walcott (Arsenal), Barry (Aston Villa), J Cole (Chelsea), Lampard (Chelsea), Beckham (Los Angeles Galaxy), Gerrard (Liverpool), Carrick (Manchester United), Downing (Middlesbrough), Bentley (Tottenham), Rooney (Manchester United), Defoe (Portsmouth), Heskey (Wigan).

Carrick has finally made it. He should always be in the squad imo.
Im suprised Hesky is in the team and Upson.

We'll see where they slot Richards. Since Richards can play either CB or RB efficiently, its up to the manager. However England tend to always have 3-4 good centerbacks, so it would be ideal for Richards to play RB (better than on the bench).

Johnson is a quality player, and will for sure be in the squad for years to come.
