Prob just as well, he would've been in Sunderlands reserves or the Championship by now!

Considering we haven't really been able to develop any1 from our youth set up of late, I would disagree with that...

Republic of Ireland squad to play Cyprus
Shay Given (Newcastle United), Dean Kiely (West Bromwich Albion), Joe Murphy (S****horpe United); Alex Bruce (Ipswich Town), Damien Delaney (Queens Park Rangers), Richard Dunne (Manchester City), Kevin Kilbane (Wigan Athletic), Joey O'Brien (Bolton Wanderers), John O'Shea (Manchester United), Paul McShane (Sunderland); Stephen Hunt (Reading), Aiden McGeady (Celtic), Damien Duff (Newcastle United), Liam Miller (Sunderland), Andy Reid (Sunderland), Glenn Whelan (Stoke City); Kevin Doyle (Reading), Robbie Keane (Liverpool), Andy Keogh (Wolverhampton Wanderers), Shane Long (Reading), Daryl Murphy (Sunderland).

S Reid is a big loss he played v well in the last games.. hopefully this will give Fat Andy his chance to perform in the centre..

Finnan is also a blow, I expect Joey O'Brien to slot in at right back, I wouldn be worried about him!

Still no Stephen Ireland... one of th ebest players in the Premiership at the moment... we really need to get him back on board!!!!

Damn no Finnan??? Thats a big blow, as in S.Reid......
Rumour has it that Stevie Ireland wont be back in the green shirt.
Dunne was saying something about it.
Glad Duffer is back to hopefully take Hunt's place.
Hunt is only effective when he comes on for the last 15 to run around like a madman.

Young James McCarthy has said today that he has no intentions of dumping Ireland to play for Scotland so thats great news

Trap said he will hand McCarthy his senior debut when turns 18, McCarthy is seen as one of the brightest young talents in britain at the moment, with Inter Milan, Barcelona and Liverpool to name just a few tracking him.

Can anyone get a link or stream to watch the Ireland B team take on Forest tonight?? Darren Gibson will play a part in the game
