We need O'Brien. he has done well for Bolton this season and by the looks
of things is a better option than McShane
We need defenders badly so anyone at this stage will do.
O'Brien can play a role till O'Dea makes it in beside Dunne.

hve to wonder about this stephen ireland fella. to me he appears to be a right muppet !!!He needs to get a life fast and get his ass back playing for his country. its time to cop himself on.

Stephen Ireland has had his problems and I kind of feel sorry for him.
'Grannygate' was just a cover up cos his girlfriend had a miscarriage,
he was being bullied allegedly in the Irish camp over his hair transplant.
He seems a bit of an odd ball but the lad CAN play. he is young and shows great
quality, scoring important goals.

I do think he needs to get the finger out and play for his COUNTRY.....
Id bite my left nad off to play for Ireland and he doesnt seem bothered.....
Trap HAS to get him back playing and we can look forward to some good times.

Not too sure about O'Dea. Im just looking into the next few years and he
seems to be the only up and coming centre half.
McShane was amazing in his Irish debut but has been found out badly
in recent months.
Dunne will do the job but we may need Jonner at full back?
Its slim ish pickings and O'Dea seems to be the only up and coming.
Think he is just 20 and has played some big games, Old Firm, San Siro etc..
and did well enough. Ive hopes for him.

without a doubt its slim pickings at centre half! I have hope that McShane will get his act together.. O'Shea I think will have to partner Dunner in defence altho we are short at left back .. Finnan we need you! Unless Alex Bruce has been playing a prank on us we're gonna be in a spot of bother... but I know Trap will sort us out!

Ireland is not too keen to come back yet from what I gather.
There is no point pestering the lad. We want players who WANT to play
for their country. Time will tell.

I have to be honest I dont recognise a few of the names. Obviously some
young blood is coming in. Im not over ecstatic looking at the defenders to be
honest. No Finnan and OBrien either......

I thought he was taking a squad of 40 away to Spain or Portugal???
Is this the squad for the Serbia game?
