O'Shea was solid enough despite Ireland letting in 3. he was ok a 6.5/10
Gibson was very quiet first half and not really that effective. I was disappointed
with his performance. 6/10

I was at the match and it really felt like Poland were the home team, their fans were brilliant!!! I didn't even see Andrews goal, left as soon as the got that cracking third goal..

we need something from the midfield in the form of creativity, Ireland and Reid, quality players its sick that we may not see them! we dont need ot play 2 wingers from the start (particularly if one of those wingers is Andy Keogh!!) Andy Reid or Stephen Ireland need to be pulling strings in midfield, we were v poor last night!

Apparently Andy Reid fell out with Trap cos he had the lads up late while he was entertaining them with the guitar in the team hotel ... thats pretty **** in my opinion

the longer this "thing" trap has with reid goes on it only damages our chances of qualification, we are badly in need of a schemer in midfield, we looke flat and clueless v poland and i am a little worried that this could be a sign of things to come.
with doyle and keane upfront we have a perfect partnership, but whos creating chances for them or putting in through balls?
trap needs to find a creative outlet soon.
it was only a friendly so no real need to panic YET!

the faith remains strong......

both played crap tbh with O'shae at fault for the first goal and once again we were overrun in midfield.Hopefully Gibson will have more game time and hopefully andrews will blossom in the coming months for their respective clubs

Just looking at Stephen Irelands form (I know we're sick of talking about him!!), I dare say he is playing as well as Fabregas was this time last year (not getting quite the headlines of course cos he's Irish), banging in the goals, running midfield... we have to do whatever it takes to get him back!!!

Hope he plays a shocker on Sunday!!

Agree with both of yis. He trained hard all summer by all accounts, built up
his strength and fitness and is now seeing the benefits. I really hope he comes
back cos without the 2 Reid's we are seriously thin in midfield.
How we gonna win the World CUp with Gibson and Whelan in the middle?
