WAYNE ROONEY will be back to help Manchester United gun for the Premier League crown on Sunday.

The Old Trafford star came through a tough session at their Carrington training ground yesterday and is available for the final-day trip to Wigan.

Striker Roo was feared to have suffered a hernia.

But a United insider said: “There was nothing Wayne could not do. He was whizzing around and flying into tackles.
''Not once did he wince. He’s a tough cookie and this is not going to keep him out.”

dont think he will play though...he wont be risked unless we really really need.......and we can put in a side with ronaldo,tevez,rio,vidic(if available),brown/neville maybe,evra,park,anderson/hargo,carrick,scholes i think.........

Ya, he's on the bench. Vidic is fit and maybe will play full 9x10 minutes though. I hope he'll be gunning for revenge against Didier Drogba for his kneee knockout. What better place to get gyob then at moscow?

pressure on Wigan from the moment

I just hope this story is true cos you never know.
We need Rooney for this one to get up in Wigans' faces
and to get us that all important goal.
We have to go for this with Rooney and Tevez up front
and Ronnie doing his business in and around them.
