We all have a different perception of what a 'World Class' player is,
but who in your opinion are the world class players at United ?

Well guess everyone will agree with Ronaldo. Then there's Rooney. Rio Ferdinand is definetly a world class defender and so is Vidic. I don't know if we can call Evra 'world class' but i can't think of a lot of left backs better than him either, that makes him one of the best and i think Tevez is wordclass too. Thats about it i think

I agree with the players the rest of you have put but I feel I must also mention Paul Scholes. He may be in the twilight of his career now but he was one of the best midfielders in the World for many years and in the Champions League semi-final he showed that he still has the ability to be the difference maker. He's one of my all-time favourite players.

Surely Edwin is world class? I would have thought so....

Thats 8......Id have Hargo as very close and Anderson as a future world class player.

i cant see how tevez is dabatable jazz, i think as far as a shadow striker goes there isn't a better one than tevez in the world and that includes rooney, also giggs is not world class anymore, once upon a time yes but not in the modern day goood thread btw

The world class players at the moment are ...
Ronaldo, Ferdinand, Rooney, Tevez, Vidic, Evra + Scholes (Maybe Carrick imo)
Nani and Anderson to join them in 2 years, Giggs was!

I agree about Giggs btw.
But Tevez Im still not 100% sure that he is World Class.
great player and I love him but world class? I included him in the list as a yes,
but I have a few question marks is all....

So just the 8 then is it? No more than that anyone?

Tevez is a debatable one in my opinion. He's a top class forward and has scored goals in very important matches against very good opposition for both club and country.

However, he is struggling to keep his place in the Argentina side and I'm not sure you can put him in the same bracket as Torres, Eto'o, Van Nistelrooy, Drogba etc...yet.

He's still only 23 though so plenty of time to prove himself. If he manages another good season at United next year then maybe it won't be so debatable!
