Luck or Whatever...Man United are CHAMPIONS!

Manchester United were crowned European Champions in Moscow on the 21st of May, Chelsea supporters will continue to argue about the events that led up to it.

'Drogba to Milan'! 'Milan for Drogba'! were the shouts heard from the stands after Chelsea's defeat to United at Luzhinki Stadium and they were not from the United fans, they were from the Chelsea Section of the crowd.

United dominated the first half upto Lampard's goal. Michael Carrick and Carlos Tevez came exceptionally close to sealing the win after Ronaldo's opener.

Tevez missed out, inches from the goal while Carrick shot straight at Cech when he had the whole goal to aim for.

Luck was favouring the Blues then.

Chelsea came out for the second half like a team on a mission and were unfortunate to miss out when Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard both hit the woodwork.

Luck had put on a Red Shirt.

Ryan Giggs, breaking the record for the number of appearances should have sealed the win but Luck wasn't on his side. How else could he miss out from there, one would have to be a Chelsea fan or be retarded to say he's not good enough to do so.

Didier Drogba getting sent off, Luck or plain stupidity? I'll leave that one to you.

They say United were Lucky to win because John Terry slipped, well maybe that is true but does it mean United deserve the trophy any less?

Lets look at Ronaldo who has scored 42 goals this season, he's had the greatest season ever and he's usually who steps up to take penalties for United and he missed. Would it have been Luck if United had missed out on the trophy because of him?

To blame the defeat on the season's best player, maybe Luck was smiling at him, maybe Luck went out there to throw some water under Terry's feet or maybe Luck made him cry.

Had Terry not slipped? Had this happened? Had that happened? is a never ending story. Chelsea fans have every right to be frustrated but if Manchester United were so Lucky it should have been done and dusted 4-0 after the first half, so maybe Luck has a balance?

Perhaps, the point made here is Luck is part of the game and it should not be single handedly picked out as an excuse for defeat.

Leave Luck out of it and lets accept the winners as they are, Champions of Europe, Manchester United.

I am Lucky to write this article and you are Lucky to read it. For those who are hungry for stats, John Terry cried for 42 minutes and 11 seconds before pushing his tears back as Chelsea boarded the bus, in the process he used the shoulders of Avram Grant, Frank Lampard, Tal Ben Haim and Joe Cole to cry on. Maybe Luck is not with the Laundry who will wash the tears.

We had a blast in Moscow, watched an incredible final and saw another disgraceful event thanks to Didier Drogba, so I'm guessing we were Lucky!

Luck has something to do with everything a person does; be it either bad or good. It was lucky that ref made that decision then! It was bad luck giving away that free kick then! If that ref had not seen that slap then ..! When it boils down to it, its all bloody luck.

We in your shadow? Hardly. Numerically you may be a little bit in front, but lets face it, you only get up to 4th due to the crap below you. United are far more renowned that Looserpool.
