Can't believe Scholes doesn't even get a mention here as he is such a calming influence in our squad. I expect him to pull the strings in our side leading us to the title yet again.

I am not taking for granted Rooney and everyone else's worth, like Rio and Vidic as well, just think that what Scholes has done since coming back has been incredible.

Im expecting a big season off VDS. It could be his last season and id like to think he'll be amazing throughout the season. He has experience to burn but at times last season he was a little shaky, but i still do not think we have a replacement for him currently.

Defense will be important with the keeper ofcourse. In rio we have the best defender in the world, in vidic and rio we have the best the best defensive partnership in the world and in evra we have the best last back in the world...3 outta 4 aint bad at all. Plus at right back, we have two born united players, Neville and Brown. Brown definately compliments the other 3 with his no nonsense strong style too. lol..

Midfield will be key and im expecting big things off tevez and rooney.

BUT naturally if i have to name one player, hate me for it or say it was expected but really, it has to be ronaldo for me. He will not miss much of the season or the important part with him coming back in october because really things do not really get going fully till december.

Also people say he was the main man last season but he was also the main man the season before without question too. He won player and young player of the year that season. He has to be the key man for me because when ronaldo shines consistantly for a season, united win trophies. The last two seasons have proven that and to me, he is without question uniteds best player and the 'key man' for united to be successful again.

Ofcourse the biggest factor for that is if he has the teams unconditional backing like he had last season...and if he is still the same player after his ankle operation.

I think Rooney is gonna be massive for us this season
but only if Fergie buys an out and out striker to complement
him. If he does then i feel Rooney will explode this season
and fufil all the potential he has.

Thast what I hope will happen. Rooney has improved since he's been with us but he is less impactfull these days. I mix of the old Rooney and the current one would be amazing.

And Wayne sort your bloody finishing out! If I was Fergie I'd keep him back for an hour every day after training to improve his finishing, its so annoying, remember the one vs Liverpool which started from a goal kick? what a goal that would have been if only he could finish!
