I'm hearing what sounds like the theme from 'Only Fools and Horses' at recent away games (maybe home games too). Love to know the words to that!

The Greatest Team
Tune: Wild Rover
There is a plaque at Man United,
It's underneath the old main stand,
It bears the name of Duncan Edwards,
He was the finest in the land.
But he died on Munich's runway,
Without a tear, without a sound,
His strong body battered and broke,
As he lay helpless on the ground.
But one man survived the aircrash,
And he lived to tell the tale,
Of the boys who played in Red,
For they did not know how to fail.
So we'll drink a toast to Matt Busby,
And we'll drink one to that team,
They were acclaimed the whole world over,
They were the finest ever seen.
From the dark snows of Munich back in '58,
I remember a team that once was so great,
Their memory it still lingers on in my mind,
So I'll follow United, 'till the end of my time.
And its Man United,
Man United F.C.
They're by far the greatest team,
The world has ever seen.
"It's glory or nothing" the great man he said,
There's nothing on Earth like being a Red,
I'll follow them far and I'll follow them near,
I'll follow United on whisky and beer.
^^^^Does anyone have a link for the song above?
Cant find one anywhere!
Thanks in advance!![]()
United's new boy Anderson hasn't taken any time to settle into the Premier League and the fans have already claimed him as a cult hero with a new chant doing the rounds at Old Trafford.
Here we can reveal the chant, which is loosely based on the tune of 'Aga Do' and features the chorus of '...and he sh*ts on Fabregas!'.

This is very good I think ...![]()
Good song obviously.
No-one knows the words in the middle though, or most know it but every gets lost because all Old Trafford try to get through every chant at 100mph.
I hate the 'he's better than kleberson' part
what do you guys think of this one - i invented it myself![]()

Am I right in hearing man u singing our paul mcgrath my lord song and gabby agbonlahor chant![]()
First of all its not "man u" OK? Paul McGrath was a United player for a long long time before he played for Villa, so its possible we sang it.Originally Posted by avfc1
we've been singing it for years so i doubt it . You sing it about scholes i think.
He scores goals galore, he scores goals.
He scores goals galore, he scores goals,
He scores goals galore, he scores goals,
Paul Scholes, he scores goals.
It's been around for years.
What's the Gabby yamom'sawhore chant, and we'll say if we have one to the same tune?
By the way, United are known for their originality in chants, not changed here.
No gabby agbonlahor to the tune of chameleon So you basically copy everyones chants
What about the Gabby song? We dont sing that or we havent copied it.
What are you on about?
If you are on about the tune: Karmachameloen By Culture ClubOriginally Posted by avfc1
