I'd like to see him retire from international football and just concentrate on United, even if the World Cup is just around the corner, because it's not exactly helping matters. It's not as if he'd make the first team anyway, since Barry has an iron grip over that position.
IF he can get fit, it will be like a new signing. He has a lot to prove in my eyes... I just hope it's not a case of us getting our hopes up for nothing, again.
This is great news, I'm delighted. I was hoping he would come back before January. If he gets back to full fitness and full form by the end of the season then he has every chance of making the World Cup squad, and I really hope he does.
Can't wait to see him back, one of my favourite players...
is this why fergie says he isnt buying any more players ?
lets pray he doesnt pick anything else up when he does come back.
often long term injured players get niggles after comeback in oher areas
wooohoooo. im so glad.
my fave player is gonna back to best b4 xmas
Can't find the injury thread so i'll post this here.
SAF talking about Hargreaves
“He won’t be playing,(tomorrow)” Ferguson said. “He’s still in America, actually. We were hoping he’d join us here but he’s still undergoing his rehabilitation. Remember, it was a major operation in both knees. He’ll come back once he’s fully fit but we won’t be rushing him.”
Yet another setback , is it just me or does anybody else think he will never be the same again.
I wish fergie had spent some of the squillions of pounds we have in the bank on a quality midfield player
If he was younger then yes, But I don't know I mean he 28 nearly 29 now isn't he? I am worried we might never see his true potential at Utd. I hope I am wrong though. But seriously it will be difficult to get back to your best after 2 major knee operations.

but just becuse hes not on this tour doesn't mean he cant make it back for late septermber early october
but if he dont make it back for this year than in january fergie needs to go out and get some midfeilders
I read a really interesting article from a Sports Physio about Hargos injury and treatment. Apparently one of the key elements to a successful outcome is resting time post op. He was suggesting that January would be a realistic time for his return and was surprised that people were talking about September and October. He also reckoned that given that amount of time the op should be 100% successful and that if it wasnt then Hargo would be unlikely to play again. Cant remember where I read it or I would supply a link.
