Hargreaves played a total 34 goals last season. That's a strange looking half to me. He was instrumental in Europe. Playing all our games and was one of the main reasons why we won the CL. He took players like Xavi, Lampard and Iniseta out of games.

Then was his league form. On top of scoring some vital free-kicks he was a model of consistency. Look at the difference he made between the Liverpool games of last year. He took Stevie G out of the games last year. There is no way in hell we would have lost 4-1 to Liverpool this season if Hargreaves played.

Hargreaves doesn't control the play. Do you know anything aboput football? He breaks up the play, man marks people covers space. It's the job of the likes of Carrick and Scholesy to control the midfield. That last line truly shows how little you know. Watch a few games like a good lad.
yes thanks very much i do know something about football ! you say hargreaves played 34 games last season , well if you add up all utds games last season it must be about 60 so i am not far off the mark am i . and how many of those were actually controlling midfield that you seem so convinced about because i seem to remember him playing full back in a few games and he came off the bench in some games also.
i think hargreaves is a wonderful player if you read my post but that player has not arrived at utd yet mate ,i look at performances not names i have been watching this club for 33 years mate and you can't tell me much i don't know and finally keano and robson broke up play marked people and covered space they also scored goals THATS CALLED CONTROLLING MIDFIELD. go back to your playstation

    A legend? Definitly not.
But not a crock neihter, he rarely underperformed. If that's what he does best when he's not fully fit, then only God knows what he's able to do when he's on top form.

then could you explain to us what a crock is then because hargreaves has been injured for about 18 months out of 24 months and that guestamate is not too far out . hargreaves is a super player when he plays , he is one of my favourites but he ain't worth a dime if he is unable to play . i just hope that those operations went well and we really do get to see hargreaves in full swing.

Hold on here.......... who called him a legend?

We think he's a great player, and will be a first choice starter when fit. Give the chap a break, next season he will be a vital part of the team, he's the all action CM we're missing.

Can't wait for Hargreaves to return now.
He will be a Huge player for us next season, if he stays fit.
He's been the type of player we've missed this season and it will be like having a new signing at the club when he returns to bolster up the midfield. I think him and Anderson will be both brillant to have in midfield when they're both fit.
He can also play at right back when needed, which is a another plus.
He's a very good player that we haven't seen the best of yet.

It would be kind of cool if Hargo returned with the ability to transform into a giant semi trailer.

Sorry, I've been thinking about Transformers lately.

So you wnat to call Mickey Mouse League cup games in this go you? You wnat to include them to make up the 60? What about FA Cup? look at the big games you clown, how many did Ronaldo start. I never said he controlled midfield. That was you again clown. No me you dingus, pelase learn to read. He's job is to BREAK UP PLAY and MARK PEOPLE OUT OF THE GAME. He does that exceptionally well. That#'s my point. It was you that said he should control the game not me.

Hargreaves btw is a totally different player to Keane. Keane controlled the midfield yes but he was hardly a cracking goalscorer like you seem to think he was. Go back to my playstation, I will when you actually grow a ******* brain you clown.

Get behind the player, he plays for your club. After 33 years I'd think you should learn by now. Alas, some people never get a grasp of things. Muppet.

Yes, and it was an injury which came at a bad time. You`re saying he ain't worth a dime if he is unable to play, and its like you're saying his career is over. Be patient, ffs. He won't be another bloody Saha, dw.

Threathing violence. Where are you going to get an army quick darling?

He has done great things. He was involved in the double winning side and very unlucky not to be involved this year. being involve din the CL winning side isn't a great thing. We have only won it three times ffs. You would have put me in intensive care? Would you ****? You abolsute clown. I'm not the one threating violence babes. Then i'm the one trying to act like a big 'man'. Irony.

I would say the same to your face btw. No problems.

i would seriously love you too , i don't get intiminated by any foul mouthed yob who seems to slag a lot of people off on here . and regarding hargreaves i totally agree that he is a top player but due to his persistent injury problems he still has not nailed down a regular position in the team {last season obviously} he played in numerous positions if my memories correct.

he has had seriously bad luck and i desperatly hope owen can recover but those knees are career threatning i hate to say , and being honest and serious if a player is hardly fit to play for utd then he isn't worth having at the club that was my view with saha and hargreaves is in the last chance saloon . finally i don't think hargreaves has been worth a dime this season , surely nobody can dissagree with that comment.
