has to be a new player really, unless it's nani fergie might really see this as the chance for nani to break through, no more time in ronaldo's shadow. potential is there, no doubt, but he needs a lot of work.
personally, would like it to be villa or silva.

Carrick, not because he deserves number seven but because he doesn't deserve Roy Leanse number.

Numbers don't belong to players. The only numbers which matter at United are 7 and 10.

It won't be Rooney.
The only player capable is Ribery.

Wayne Rooney - no contest.

I wouldn't mind seeing Davide Petrucci or Kiko Macheda with the n° 7.

Too difficult to predict.
It doesn't have to be a winger though, remember that. Just a class player who is capable of leading the team on his own or can change a game for us in an instant.

Jesus just imagine being a barca fan having a couple of weeks gloating and then being hit with the news real have signed kaka ronaldo and villa with ribery coming next , they must be really pi#sed off.
Still look on the bright side chelsea have had romans billions and not won the league for 3 seasons, wouldnt it be funny if barca were champions again next season

I dont think it matters who wears the number 7 as i have always said its just a number ok its add some great occupants in the past but does that mean it as to stay like that??
i would like to see either 2 of Valencia, Eto, Silva or Benzema at United this summer so any 1 of them would be great wearing the number 7

I wouldn't give Rooney the 7 anyway. He's got Denis Law's shirt and it suits him, why change?

I would never change Rooney's shirt as I said earlier. It would be a stupid idea.
