Manchester is a shit hole, thats why.
Manchester is a shit hole, thats why.
If you havent been here, then you really can't comment.
Here's a question for you, why do you support a club from a shit hole, when you have no ties to the club or city ?
Also don't forget that sunny weather has the optical illusion that makes shit holes look clean and cool.
It's all about the weather
I was saying this along time ago but most people are to pro anything united to understand, we are a great club but we are not the worlds premier team that is real madrid and its hard to compete with that.
Well, Vidic said it was a shithole, evra said it was a shithole, Zuco and carlo have mentioned its a shit hole so I can pretty much say I find them as very reliable sources. Why do I support a club from a shithole? I support the club not the ******* city, I consider my town a shithole as well and to be honest there is nowhere I would rather live, you dont have to find something beautiful to love it, and I have no problem with Manchester as a city, all I said wast that to some footballers the city is also taken into consideration when moving clubs.
I dont have any problems with Manchester whatsoever, all im saying is that some players take that into consideration when moving clubs, and obviously Manchester cannot compete with what Barcelona, or Madrid can offer as far as the city, definitely not the club, but the city.
Listen, Manchester is not a shit hole. It's a great City, with a great history, with great people living there.
And by the way Migueldadon, why do you support United just out of interest?
You can hardly compare Manchester and Madrid. Manchester is a dull and gloomy industrial city. Don't get me wrong I'm still a proud Mancunian but we come from a pretty ugly city. Granted a lot has been done to improve it over the years, it's no where near as bad as it was pre 90's, but in comparison to Madrid, a city alive with culture, fashion, great weather, huge parks etc etc then Madrid wins hands down, it's a completely different lifestyle and that is what is attractive to many.
Obviously there are far worse places to live, and I know I've seen quite a lot of 'third world' and real poverty on my travels, but still, I can understand the lure of somewhere more exotic
I think people are making too much of a ******* deal about it, Where does it ******* say that in order to support a club you have to like the city? Where!!, ffs all I said was that I have heard from people that have gone, or live in Manchester is that its not the most attractive place to live in compared to Milan, Madrid, Barcelona etc, obviously some players take that into consideration when moving on to a different club.
