I love the way after he left United so many people turned on him.
Still a hero to me, despite his remarks about the Ireland and France game. He was dead right in what he said, but the manner in which he said it and the timing was all wrong. He speaks his mind and doesn't care who it effects.
Greatest captain this club has ever had

Keane was a great captain, but the guy loves himself! Everything he does is for himself, nobody else.
Remember us against Porto in the CL a few years ago? We were winning by a goal, and with literally 3 minutes to go, Keane stamps on one of their players and then gets sent off. And who went on to lose that match? Us. If he hadn't got sent off, we would defo been through.
Also, his tackle on that city player a few years back was absolutely horrendous, no need for it.
He thinks he is a great manager, even though his team is just off relegation spot. This aint a run of bad luck, its all down to him. He brought so many players in and blames them for where they are in the table. A bad manager, a bad person, an arrogant bully.

That was a pre-mediated 'attack' on someone who had rattled his cage. His career could have been ruined and when he was mocked for it he got his own back.

Keano put himself before anything, he did well because his agenda coincided with ours, in the
sense that winning things was good for him and for the club but he never felt much allegiance to
United, he could have gone anywhere else and he says in his autobiography that he contemplated
Juve and Bayern Munchen.

Yes, a lucky break from Howards save, but if he was on the pitch the match would have ended differently, definately not the way it ended back then.
Any footballer mocked for doing a stupid thing would come back, to try and show what they really can do on the pitch, Keane is not just the only footballer who would come back.

Keane's comments about the France Ireland game were different to the same bandwagon stuff being spewed by the media, he pointed out that Ireland had got their fair share of luck in the play-offs and that other teams had been hard done by before and to move on and get over it... Whether it was comments made out of bitterness makes no difference to me, was a welcome change.

Another thing, when we got Diego Forland, the guy had trouble scoring (obviously). During this bad run, United had got several penalties in some games. Instead of letting him break his terrible run of not scoring, Keane doesnt let him hit any of the penalties, what kind of a captain is that? Eventually, he did, but only after he scored one or two goals.

Roy Keane is the greatest leader to wear the United shirt, he just commanded the team!
He was amazing, he speaks his mind and tells it how it is. Great man!

Yes we had Van Nist, and i'm not saying that Forlan shouldve have been the regular penalty kicker, but he shouldve been allowed to take one to end his bad goal form.

Do you have proof that Keane prevented Forlan from taking a penalty when Ruud Van Nistelrooy wasn't on the pitch?
If so, who took the penalty?
....I wouldn't want to see a player who hadn't scored in several games step up to take a penalty TBH. Thats being a good captain as far as I'm concerned.

He's one of those people in football that when they speak everyone notices. I personally love listening to what ever he's got to say, there's way too many fakes out there.
*Awaiting the 'tea drinkers' ( CH mostly ) to come in and call him a fool for speaking his mind. **** off and don't read any of his articles if that's what you think.

I would let him take one, and if he missed, obviously don't let him hit one again. But besides this, hes still a twat. The guy knocked the crap out of a 15 year old kid because he gave him a rude gesture, what kind of guy do you call that? Is that not just as bad as Stevie G hitting the guy in the bar?
Keane also went mental at Mick McCarthy, calling him hurtful names about him and his family. Why? Because he said Keane had bad time keeping. Yea, I despise Keane, he does everything for himself

McCarthy said Roy Keane faked an injury to get out of a friendly. If I was Roy I'd have beat McCarthy within an inch of his life for coming out with some ******** like that.
