    I want a proper fight...!
When are we going to get a proper fighting performance from United? You know what I mean , one where we get a few bookings and the commentators talk about how we "fought like tigers". Surely with a defensive crisis we need to "defend from the front" and really get in the faces of our opposition. I'm talking about a real rip-roaring aggressive performance - a team of rampaging rooneys really "at it". Having injuries is no excuse for not fighting - it's a reason to fight even harder.

I don't know how you folks feel but I'm getting bored of being rolled over tamely by an opposition that dosn't seem to have to do very much to score against us. I tell you what - it would gladden my heart and warm me up against the Xmas cold. How I yearn to see a "keano" crunching tackle in midfield followed by a gesture to team mates. Instead we are getting a United that whimpers along with players looking lazy , too slow and not "up for it".

When are our players going to get angry? Where is our pride? Has fergie lost his hair dryer? Some of our players have no idea what a "crunching tackle" is , they probably think it's what happens when you don't change your underpants for a month!!!

I'd rather finish the game with 11 men. We have enough injuries to be worrying about needless suspensions TBH. Also, the games developed an awful lot in the last few seasons. More foregin players, faster tempos, harsher punishments etc....

Mind you....Leeds come to OT in January!

That was like watching ballet compared to games like the one to end arsenal's unbeaten streak.

You know what hes got a point, our performances have been a little lifeless and to pretty pretty.
It would be nice to see us get stuck in, crunch some tackles and just have more bite, it may be the performance we need to spark some life into our team.

Dont see other than Fletcher who we have to actually do that, Maybe Hargo but naturally your gunna wanna look after him. I loved the Arsenal match Aardvarked mentioned it had everything and we fought for the win didnt just expect the pass round the team.

I'm not saying that skill etc has to go out of the window , but I do think that you have to show the other team that you mean business. We don't do that often enough and often this season all a team has had to do is work harder than us and show some fight and we don't really turn up. Liverpool away was a prime example. Liverpool got themselves really steamed up in a way that I haven't seen United do for a long time. Recently, when Fergie was losing his rag at the 4th official (villa home) I found myself wondering whether he did this at half time to the players. My guess is though that he probably told them to "be patient " or something. Meanwhile , Wenger sees fit to blow his players out at anfield in the dressing room. I don't get it. I just think for once that it would do the players good just to fight for a game for once. I hope that by the time we play chelsea we will be in an "absolute must win" position , and that maybe drogba has said something nasty about us. I just want to see a fight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
