Vds - 6. Goos save. Otherwise nothing to do

Neville- 7. Random skillfull passing today
    Brown- 6. Little to do
    Evans- 7.5. Rock solid
    Evra-7. The usual

Valencia-7. Lots of runs, not much came of them
    Fletcher -7.5. Assured again
    Carrick- 7. Comfortable
    Nani- 7.5 - constant threat

    Rooney- 7. Bagged another
Berbatov- 6. Had a good 10 minutes before subbed. Othwerwise poor

    Subs

Gibson- 6. Not a great impact. Did nothing wrong
    Diouf - 5. Missed a sitter
Owen - 5. Didn't do much. Good runs occasionally

Portsmouth back four - 10. They were excellent for us today, 3 vital goals to help our goal difference

Van Der Sar- 6 -Hasn't had much to do since returning from a long lay off, thanks to the form of the men in front of him. Let's hope it continues...

Neville- 6.5 - THought he linked up well with those around him going forward, even a bit of fancy footwork near the end.
Evans- 7- Cool and composed as usual, putting in one or two strong challenges. Great foil to vidic.
Brown- 6.5 Same as above, except 1 or 2 minor glitches, letting Webber link up with Belhadj, to create a chance early on.
Evra- 7.5 - The word infallible comes to mind, when trying to describe Patrice as a player. By far our greatest ever left back imo.

Valencia- 4.5- Anybody that reads my posts would know how much I rate Antonio. I think he's been one of our best players this season, but today, he was utterly pathetic. Uninterested and poor final ball. Will struggle to keep his place for Villa midweek.
Fletcher- 7- Combative and creative. Assisted Rooney with a stunning cross in the first half.
Carrick- 7.5 - I;ve been a big critic of Carrick this season, but today he was quality and Pompy couldn't deal with his range of passing.
Nani- 6.5 - Good in the first half, but almost anonymous in the second period. Let's hope he bounces back vs Villa.

Rooney-7 - Played in second gear and still scored, shows the form the lads in.
Berbatov- 6.5- Got a goal and didn't do much else.

One uncomfortable performance and all of a sudden he's shit!!!!!!!!!!
FFS, he worked but just couldn't get control of the game today, he wasn't that bad! Anyone would think that we had been beat 5-0 by some of the moaning on here today. I can't believe some of you people!!!

Vds -7-solid as usual delighted to have him back and feel so much safer when he's in goal

Neville-7-showed a few silky touches had nothing to do defensively and put in a few decent crosses
Brown-6.5-had nothing of note to do
Evans-7.5-ever realiable,a player who you would think is in his prime but his carear is just starting, cleared off the line
    Evra-7-did well,mr consistent as always

Valencia-6-wasn't his best day at the office
Fletcher -7-did well and broke from midfield a couple of times, unlucky not to get onto a couple of balls over the top
Carrick-7.5 his peformances are starting to pick up,Hopefully it stays that way
Nani-^^^same as above, can be one of the best wingers in the league if he keeps it up,created another goal and looked lively

Rooney-8-scored yet another goal and kept us ticking over
Berbatov-7.5 wasn't his best peformance but it wasn't the team's best performance either, missed a sitter but scored a quailty goal, would have had a magical assist too if Vlaencia had finished the move off

    Subs

Gibson-5.5-didn't notice him at all, usual Gibson performance?
Diouf -6-should have scored but loooked lively and put in a good shift
Owen -6.5 looked sharp and put in a nice few through balls
