Cristiano Ronaldo! Only because I have too many favourites that it is much easier to single him out ...and yes..I considered him as a utd legend as well based on his contribution.
Welcome Truthman. Like the Avatar.
I met Paddy Crrerand at a sportmans evening when I was about 18, such a sound guy, I was talking to him for ages and he signed the programme for my dad, he was so happy with it when I brought it home. Many years ago but still a great memory. Lucky man meeting Georgie

Ryan Giggs.
In short, I was mesmerized by his ability and thought he was the best player I'd seen since Diego Maradonna.
Followed by Eric Cantona and Roy Keane.
Eric was the artist. The man whose personality and charisma permeated the team, influenced the youngsters. From delicate chips to thundering free-kicks he was capable of turning a game from a puddle of ***** to a glorious victory at any moment and everyone knew it.
Roy was a leader. On and off the pitch, he loved to win. He knew when and what to say. When to give a team mate praise, when to give him a rollicking and above all else - he led by fiery example. He chased down every ball, he could dictate the pace of a game, he could appear out of nowhere and score a vital goal - a captain's goal. He was inspirational.
Keane and Scholes. What a combo!
Out of the current crop, who will become a legend? Thats probably a better question...
Obviously Rooney, but what of Carrick and Fletcher, both of whom are rapidly improving
Ryan Giggs.
Always.![]()
Ruud Van Nistelrooy.............None other than him, special striker !!!
Hardly to pick only one.Eric Cantona is definitely number one for me.But i cant separate him from the LEGENDS like Roy Keane,Paul Scholes,Ryan Giggs,Wayne Rooney or Solskjaer......btw,some pepople will might say that he is not our legend, but I always kinda liked Steve Bruce.
Scholes for me, total footballer.
My dad was going to go into business with Fitzy until injury forced him out to Scotland (was it E. Fife or St Mirren or somewhere?) then out of the game altogether. Great to see he's doing well in the wine/golf/event industry.

Charlton, Cantona and Ronaldo for me. Its so hard to choose just one, could have picked another ten TBH
