    Happy days!
Brilliant way to avenge the 3-0 loss at the San Siro in 06/07. Will have something nice to post on my itlian ex-colleague's facebook page.

    Great thread

It was more for me about United coming of age and proving we really have moved on from Ronaldo.

A great win against a team of guys on their last legs. The Italian league must be pretty weak, and conversely, with United's result, and Arsenal's thrashing of Porto last night, maybe the gap between the Premier League and the so-called big clubs in Spain hasn't slipped too much. Real Madrid went out and will Barca pose the same threat as the quality side that beat us in the Final? I think the real challenge to United potentially winning the Champions League will come from Chelsea and Arsenal.

I can see the final 8 being:

arsenal, bayern, man utd, lyon, bordeaux, sevilla, inter milan and barcelona

but have a feeling barcelona will be knocked out in the next round

The draw for the next round will give us a good idea of who we may meet in the semis, and the final if we get that far, but things are looking good

I have a feeling will get Lyon.
Think we were supposed to meet Madrid, so will get OL instead.

I don't care if half of milan's player were in wheelchairs, it was a great win and a very large monkey off our backs.

People think arsenal eh? Great performance/result yesterday, but they are not the same team away from home. If they get an opponent who can defend, and counter - they will be in serious trouble. As they were against us, and chelski, in the league.

I didn't have any doubts about the final result of your challenge with Ac Milan, but every time I see UTD playing ..... I get always so impressed ...

I have a very good feeling about this year. I had Chelsea to take the Cl this season, and I do think they will beat Inter at Stamford Bridge next week. I have no faith in Arsenal, if they get either us, Chelsea or Barcelona I think they will be out, Barcelona have looked shaky in the past couple of weeks, but they are still Imo the best club in the world based on the players they currently have. Other than that I cant see the rest of the remaining teams taking it to be honest.

Watch out for Bordeaux and Sevilla, dark horses that hould not be taken lightly, but honestly speaking, I fear no side left in the draw. Even if Real were there instead of Lyon, I'd still be feeling confident. It's between us, Barca and Chelsea in my opinion...or Inter if Mourinho manages to do a number at Stamford Bridge.
