These pre-season aways are always good I find. I'm not sure if it's because there hasn't been a United game to go to in a while, or because they are just generally a laugh but I always enjoy them. I didn't get to any last season but did Preston in July '06 which was great with all the Anti-Glazer protests etc. I will see if I can get something sorted

I was at that one with my brother, who supports Preston, but I was in the home end. My brother loved it, mainly because Preston won 2-1 and he was taking the mickey all the way home

I can imagine that wasn't too good. Even if it was a young United side PNE were still full of the 'We Beat United hahaha' attitude after the game.

One thing that stands out in my mind from that game was the atmosphere.

I was thinking about Aberdeen. Tickets are easy to get just off the Aberdeen website. Then there's travel.
Train's will cost the bomb, and take the mick, probably about 6 hours. Looked at flights, found one for £50 return. Really undecided.
May just save up for new season. As I am planning to do Ole's game, Peterborough and Wembley.
