stay at the train station and the get the metrolink to Old Trafford. make sure get on an tram destined for Altrincham, Not Eccles or you'll find urself going the wrong way. then once at Old Trafford station just head straight down and luckily it takes u straight past the ground

Go downstairs to the tram station and get an "Altrincham" tram to Old Trafford.

When you get off, go under the line to the side of the cricket ground and walk up Warwick Road until you reach Chester Road.

Cross Chester Road and walk down Sir Matt Busby Way and you're there.

Just in case there's disruption on the way, you can also get an "Eccles" tram from Piccadilly, alight at Exchange Quay. Cross Trafford Road, turn right past Sam Patts, then left and first right. You'll see the ground on your left.

Couldn't have put it better myself! Thats how I go about it...

....a little tip.

If your getting the same tram back to picadilly and the is a huge que to get on at
OT, get the tram to the next stop, switch trams there and then your heading back
the Picadilly way a you watch all the people waiting to get on! ....lol
