That's the point - we're not.

I've sat next to people in the North and South stand who are there simply for the day out. Some don't know who the players are, don't know the rules of football and do not cheer even when we score.

If you're there for the first time then I wouldn't praise the Glazers, moan about the stadium/facilties, ask daft questions like 'what's a throw-in?', 'where did we buy so-and-so from?'...all of which I've heard when sat in the North and South Stand...if you're sat in the Stretford End.

agreed. i have managed to get to 5 united games this season and i like to think i give my vocal support. The fans around me at times act like they are at a funeral.

I was at the Arsenal cup game and sat at the side of a women with her kid and husband. After first 5 mins she asked to swap her husband cos I assume of my chanting.

The need to have a vocal fan club says it all. If you go, get behind em. It aint a cinema, its a theatre (of dreams!!!!)

Which is the best stand for the crowd? I mean volume wise, as i always like to get behind the team

Are any other games on general sale?

Stretford end is the most vocal by far, but if you don’t know the songs you may feel left out, the east stand is also good as it has good banter with the away fans who are not too far away. North and South stands are boring with the prawn sandwich eaters, and the north-west quadrant isn’t too bad, it has some vocal fans and some not so vocal there. Otherwise haven’t sat in any of the other corners.
