I'll be coming back from Birmingham on the 20th after staying there a couple of days, I'm playing at St Andrew's football stadium on the actual pitch as part of the 'Your Game 2008' tournament. Then going back home and I'll be watching the ECL final on TV with a few cans

Moscow's Champions League pitch is replaced

A major doubt has emerged over the playing surface for the Champions League final.


Organisers spent nine months growing a grass pitch to replace the artificial surface at Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium but, shortly after installing it, experts decided that it was too bumpy.

A second grass pitch has been imported from Slovakia, at a cost of £160,000, and laid down instead.

Terry dislocated his elbow but could make it back.
Drogba jarred his knee and is a doubt. Either way he wont be training this week.

My dad works at Manchester City Council; says they're putting big screens up in town for the UEFA Cup Final. No decision has been taken re: keeping them up for the Champs League final as of yet, however me thinks they will.
