I don't believe in all that 'tempting fate' carry on, lol.

Man for man - United are light years ahead of Wigan !!!

So many people on this thread have said 'I hope we play our best eleven'.

Do they really believe Fergie will play anything but.

He has no need to now.

We play Wigan ...

Then rest for 10 days ...

Then we go to Moscow.

Fergie makes changes when he NEEDS to ...

Not on a whim, or because he is bored !!

For tactics like this - See Rafa Beneathus at Anfailed.

I wont predict the score - it's irrelevant really ... I do feel anything less than
victory could be labelled as disgraceful to be honest ... Wigan have nothing in
their armoury that United can't cope with - so let's go win us a Premier League
Title ... NUMBER TEN !!!!!!

I really don't know what to predict concerning choices of the line up, but, I know that I would play the side together, that I plan on using against Chelsea to have them play together. If we get a similar early lead as with WHU, then I would rest certain key players to avoid the possibility of injury, and to allow others to play who may become needed in the final, at 60 minutes. I expect a similar result as saturday's match--- and with no Nani of course.

Wow its coem round so fast, lets put them to bed and take our 10th premier league title
If chelsea won it, it would be theft would feel so robbed

I think he will go with the same team as the last two games, unless Vida is back 2-0 us !

Giggs wary of Wigan Finale

RYAN GIGGS insists Manchester United will not take victory for granted when they face Wigan.

The Red Devils will claim the Premier League title if they win at the JJB Stadium on Sunday.

But anything less than three points will offer Chelsea the chance to snatch the crown on the final day.

And Giggs reckons United will have no easy task against Wigan.

The veteran winger, who will match Bobby Charlton as the club's record appearance maker if he steps out at the JJB, said: “It’s in our hands, which is all you can ask for.

“It’s going to be a tough game. Wigan have got some decent players. They showed that when they played Chelsea and got a draw.

“But no matter what happens with Chelsea, it’s still in our hands and we’ve got to be professional and do our job.” -TheSun

My Formation for this game:

---------------------VDS-----------------------
--Brown----Rio---------Vida------------Evra
--Ronaldo--Carrick---Scholes--------Park
-------------Rooney----Tevez---------------

But If both Rooney and Vidic will miss it,my formation will be :

----------------VDS---------------------
-Hargro---Rio------Brown----Evra--
---Anderson--Carrick---Scholes---
--------------------------Park---------
----Ronaldo--------------------------
----------------Tevez-----------------

have to say I agree with all but one of your first selection. Hargo for his form recently though would get my vote ahead of underperforming michael Carrick. I don't believe the latter is in the same class as hargo .

I do agree park should be chosen ahead of giggs but hopefully we will have the luxury of bringing him on to equal charlton's record and besides the signs were far more encouraging from the welsh wizard against the hammers

Bruce: 2 Million Reasons To Beat United

http://www.goal.com/en/Articolo.aspx?ContenutoId=686547
by Derek Wanner, Goal.com

In the buildup to Manchester United's must-win game at the JJB Stadium, Steve Bruce has scoffed at the suggestion that Wigan will be anything less than fully motivated seeing that their Premership status is now assured.

The former Red Devil stands in the way of Sir Alex Ferguson's tenth Premier League trophy, but he was keen to point out that there is huge financial incentive for his club to finish as high up the table as possible, as a result of the prize money designated for each league position by Premier League before the start of each season.

"We've got to be professional and we will be. The difference between finishing two places in the Premier League these days is almost £1.5 million," said Bruce.

According to the number crunchers, if the Athletics, who currently lie 13th, beat United and Newcastle United lose at Everton, they would finish 12th, earning them £6.4m in prize money. But, conversely, if the Athletics should lose they could finish as low as 15th and net £2.1m less.

Meanwhile, Wigan are hoping to seal the deal for Egyptian striker Amr Zaki, who Bruce personally traveled to Egypt to watch in action over the weekend.
