changes ?

i know fergie has some decisions to make before the game at wigan and these are the key ones.
in my opinion he would have kept the same eleven going in to the wigan game but with nani stupidly being dismissed will this tempt fegie to bring rooney back up front and put ronaldo back out wide or will he bring maybe giggs back in? personally i dont want rooney to be rushed back and miss the final however i dont really want to see giggs starting a game of this importance either i just feel he hasnt been performing since the turn of the year at all, so what do you think the team will be guys ? and who are we going to throw on if we need a win (if rooney fails to be fit in time )

Imo it'll be Rooney on the bench and Giggs will come in for Nani.

The key for me in this game is early lead! We need to put this game to bed before second half. Park should start instead of giggs and rooney if fit should start also. We must control the tempo of this game and I hope that anderson destroys the midfield !! 3-0 then to moscow

Bruce has made it clear he wants to win this one, its means 2.5 million extra to Wigan in places.

The team he starts will be identical to the games against Barca/WHam apart from Giggs will come in for Nani and captain the side for his record breaking (769???) cap.

Wigan - attack them!!

Surely we have to be brave now and go for it? We've tried this cagey rubbish away from OT for more than a month now and all it's done is brought Chelsea back into the race.

On sunday I really don't want to see United players standing 5 yards away from Wigan players shuffling aimlessly side to side whilst the Wigan midfield look up and pick out passes. I don't want to see United waiting till 15 minutes to go to really take their gloves off and pepper the Wigan goal. I do not want to see ANY initiative given away whatsoever. United must be mean and play like demons possessed. They must play as if the club will go into administration if we don't win and all the players will be on the dole. I want our players to look like Keano on acid. Like players who are trying to avoid relegation.

So , no waiting . No Wigan taking the lead first and then United suddenly start playing ( God that makes me mad !!!) . No low tempo nonsense passing the ball around our back four for 10 minutes . We don't want to be waiting for a score flash from the bridge before we explode into life. Explode into life from the start!!! Up for it from minute one!!! In their faces , high tempo , speed of passing , quick moves, aggression , tackling etc etc.

If we make this game like a cup tie the Wigan players might start thinking about their holidays. They won't want to get any injuries or risk a summer on the treatment table. They just won't be able to live with that kind of committment. I want to see an Aresenal 4-0 type performance. No space given to any Wigan player in our half. (oh and another thing - if we go 1-0 up no sitting on our lead - get the second lads!!!)

Champions must be brave , Champions must believe. No limping over the line , no leaving anything on the pitch. I honestly believe if they do this they will be 99% certain of winning it. But will they? Anyone understand my potential frustration?

Fully and comprehensively.

Surely and thank God, we have no choice now (although we don't have to come to this stage in the first place), haven't we?

And I want to believe we would.

I've heard that Steve Bruce will get extra cash for transferes next season if they beat us. So they'll be up for it. And you can bet WE WILL BE UP FOR IT, C'MON UNITED!

I want to believe that too , but something tells me they will wait until the last 15 minutes and we'll all be biting our nails wondering why we didn't go at them from minute one. Surely we can't have any eyes on the bridge either. As far as I am concerned Chelsea have 3points and that's it. They will not slip up now. That's what i would be telling the lads. I wouldn't even let them think about chelsea drawing.
