Fergie said that Hargreaves and Neville will play and Park might aswell.

Here's the team I hope gets played:

------------------------------PIG-------------------------

--Neville-----------Rio---------------Evans-----------Evra--

--Nani------Hargreaves--------Scholes--------Giggs--

---------------------Campbell----Rooney-----------------

SUBS: Foster, Rafael, O'Shea, Rodrigo, Fletcher, Park, Tevez,

Hopefully we can take Hargreaves and Giggs off in the seconf half and bring on Fletcher and Park because Fletcher deserves a reward for his good form and Park played a massive part in our CL win but he didn't make the final, so he deserves to get a reward aswell.

We should rest Anderson as he has just come back from the Olympics so he might need a rest and I think he should play vs both Liverpool and Chelsea aswell so he needs to be 100%.

If we are comfortable then I'd like to see us bring on Rafael, Rodrigo and Park in the second half.

should be exciting. I hope our players do not take it for granted and expect to hae the throphy. They know they need to go out there and play the game and try to win! No ronaldo either in EU games is a big loss but hopefully we'll come through.

I want to see..

VDS

NEVILLE VIDIC RIO EVRA/FABIO

Fletcher Hargo Scholes Nani

Tevez and Rooney/Cambpell

I think fletch should carry on playing...fatigue is not a factor in his selection because he needs to take every chance he gets and should not be a problem for him. Evra has done alot of running lately but whoever gets 'rested' from this match will still be pretty sad i'm guessing because it is a big game!

MOSCOW (AFP) - Reigning Russian champions Zenit St Petersburg were confident ahead of Friday's glittering European Super Cup clash with English Premier League side Manchester United.

The Super Cup is played between the winners of the UEFA Cup and the Champions League. The current holders are AC Milan, who beat Sevilla in last year's final.

On Monday Zenit strengthened their line-up by signing Portugal international midfielder Danny for a record 30 million euros (44 million dollars) from Dynamo Moscow.

Zenit manager Dick Advocaat said he was happy with his club's new signing, adding that Danny would likely play against United on Friday.

"Danny is a very strong player well suited for the Russian league's style," he said. "You will see him against Manchester. I believe he will seriously strengthen us."

"Our domestic calendar was really busy but we have had time to prepare for the match in Monaco," Advocaat added.

But the Dutch coach said the transfer saga over want-away star Andrei Arshavin has had a negative impact on team morale.

"Arshavin's transfer story is taking too long. It has already lasted six weeks and I won't deny it has had a negative impact on our team and our results as well," he said.

Russian international striker Pavel Pogrebnyak, who missed the European championship because of knee problems, is ready to play in Monaco.

He confirmed his comeback by scoring two goals in the Russian first division match at Samara on Sunday, as Zenit won 3-0.

"My scoring abilities are back," Pogrebnyak said. "This is really good news for me and my team. I hope we will all be able to play in good style against Manchester and achieve positive result."

Zenit's Argentinian striker Alexandro Domingues also expressed his readiness for the Super Cup battle, saying he and all of his team-mates were extremely motivated ahead of the clash with United.

"It will be unforgettable match, not only for me but for all of us," he said.

Brown.. Rio.. Vidic.. Evra

Fletcher.. Anderson.. Scholes.. Nani

Tevez.. Rooney

Hargreaves hasnt played yet so shouldnt start but would like to see him come on! is Ji Sung back cause he is ****ing awesome and i wanna see him getting stuck in again. It depends on how the match goes in terms of subs but we will have to see some more of the brazilians for sure!

i kno scholesy's been a hero for united and a faithful servant but i am starting to feel his time is running out, lots of competition for midfield especially in the centre! gonna be difficult for fergie to make the right decisions?

I think Ferguson will field a full strength team for this game. The next league
game is not for three weeks I think, so there's no point in 'resting' anybody.

The lineup all depends how seriously he takes the game. He could either put
his best XI out or give the younger players a chance to shine and also gain
some experience.

It would be nice for either Rooney or Tevez to get on the score sheet and
then carry it on into the league. It's a dangerous thing to rely on Fletcher
for goals

Whichever team he decides to play, I expect we will win this game because
of the massive difference in quality between the two teams.

Here's who I'd play:

-------------------VDS---------------

Brown - Ferdinand - Vidic - Evra

Fletcher - Scholes - Anderson - Nani

-------------Tevez - Rooney----------

United to call on England pair

Sir Alex Ferguson has pledged to take the encounter with UEFA Cup winners Zenit St Petersburg seriously after losing out to Lazio the last time United played in the match following their Champions League triumph over Bayern Munich in 1999.

However, Ferguson also recognises the tie offers a perfect opportunity to give some match practice to some key figures within his squad.

Neither Neville nor Hargreaves have played a competitive fixture for the Red Devils yet this season. Hargreaves has been trying to overcome a tendinitis problem, while Neville has missed out due to the form of Wes Brown.

"I want to win," said Ferguson. "I remember the last time we went there I only played half a team because we had a Monday league game against Newcastle.

"When I saw Lazio celebrating at the end, it was like they had won the World Cup. I was not too pleased. I thought, 'That will not happen again'."
