Alright mate, let's separate facts from opinions then....

Facts:

1. Zenit truly played better and truly deserved to win last night.

2. A full-strength Zenit well into their domestic season played a half-strength United just beginning their domestic season.

3. We will only know the ultimate truth if a full-strength Zenit meet a full-strength United.

4. I don't know which member(s) was/were insensitve enough with his/their comments that seem to have irked you somewhat. But two wrongs do not make one right.

5. Humility and forbearance are good virtues.

I tuned in last night and thought I was going to see a cup game on a car park roof, I was wrong but the roof was there though.

Zenit are really a great team
they have good chemistry in between their players, they are tricky passers and are well composed on the ball
Zenit have also added the big big europian teams touch by splashing cash on new signing
like Danny who don't just dominate the midfield but also go upfront and score goals

Zenit can easily go through the round stages and they can reach a good position in the ucl
and they can surprise us and amd sure they will (beating realmadrid at bernabue 4-0 lol )

i wish we face them again hopefully in the ucl this year with our full squad

but as ManUtd Fan i've to blame fergie for the selection....
scholes and anderson in the midfield area won't work......
SAF should put park in the team instead of fletcher even he's the only one that can score at the moment.....
i'm sure we can win that if park was there......

I read the reason for spending the big money is that Danny will probably becomes a neutral player in the russian league and the aplication have been handed in. His value wouldnt be this high if he would be concidered a foregin player for a couple of years ahead. And of course Big Dick likes him.

And scoring 15 goals in Moscow shirt in 3,5 years isnt bad in 80+ games. But its not something you fall off your chair for. But the kid is still just 25 and will help Zenit.

I am sure. he scored 15 goals for Dinamo,but this team arent big in Russia, now Dinamo are 2nd but now I not sure,they will remain at top without him. He was the best.In Zenit he will score more goals,coz all players are great here.

For example Zyryanov. He played for Torpedo earlier. For 8 years he scored 2 goals there.In the last year he leaved to Zenit and for a season scored 15 (!!!) goals and became a star here. In 29 years he play for national team and became the leader.
