We got to give a few of our lads a rest today, so we should have no problems going into this game.

Giggs and Scholes might feature and Vidic might be back. Let's hope Villa have a mighty tussle with Spurs this evening. I'm heading along to Villa Park next week. Can't wait.

Indeed, should be a good game, are Villa doing well at the moment? I have no idea.

May aswell be the first to say it

Curtain raiser for the Wembley showdown.

I think we'll win this game though. We've a cracking record at Villa Park and Fergie always says how much he loves their pitch...

    I'll say 2-0

4-5-1, has to be. Nani and Giggs on the wings. Carrick, Fletcher and Scholes in a 3 man midfield.

    Will Vidic be back?

Not sure if we'll play 4-5-1 or 4-4-2, most likely the former as we can't risk getting overrun in midfield and then done by pace, but you all know I hope for the latter!

another must win, most games are must win now really.
chelsea play everton away and arsenal v pool so lets hope we gain in more than one way mid week.

Would like to see valencia in the middle, he may be more of a threat on goal, not saying he isn't out wide, mind. he would just be more central.

    VDS
    Rafael Brown Evans Evra

    Nani Valencia Carrick Fletcher Park

    Rooney

i think we will manage to win this one! It won't be easy.. SAF will probably play 4-5-1 again the same team as the one against arsenal only the defence could be changed..

It's sad that Valencia has fallen down the pecking order. I don't usually criticise Fergie, but he shouldn't have dropped him for the City and then the Arsenal game. I think it would be a huge risk to pick him on wednesday and the following Tuesday against Milan also, as his confidence does seem to have taken a battering. So, my team for wednesday

    Van Der Sar

    Rafael*------Vidic*-------Evans--------Evra

    Nani---Carrick----Fletcher--Scholes--Giggs

    --------------------Rooney-------------------------

Subs: Pig, Neville, Brown, Valencia, Park, Owen, Gibson
