He stays up when challenged longer than Ronnie.....

In short without this ONE MAN Mr Rooney we have looked so poor it was almost embarassing !!

Assuming Rooney plays - I'll say 3-0 and more....

Without him I worry...........

Why u like picking on Ronaldo? Other players have not been playing great last couple of games aswel, not just him

VDS

Brown - Rio - Vidic - Evra

Ronaldo - Hargreaves - Anderson - Giggs

Rooney - Saha

although i wouldnt mind Nani or Park starting instead of Saha so Ronaldo can go up top with Rooney.

Im going for 2-0, Ronaldo & Rooney.

We have such a big squad that we can expect players to be fresh, fit and raring to go each game now.

Newcastle are on a bad run of things this season so hopefully they dont raise their game too much against us.

Being the home team and bang in form (10 wins from 10), I cant see anything other than a win for United. 3-0 to United.

Rooney usually does well against Newcastle (remember THAT goal) and he looked so sharp against Villa in what was his 1st game back since illness.

Hopefully Tevez will be back in as well.

Carlos Tevez WILL play,IMO! According to what SAF has said @ ManUtd.com, Carlitos' only injured for a single game, which is against Aston Villa at Villa Park, b'coz of a badly bruised ankle. He will feature in that game,no worry guys.........I also hope Fergie puts on Nani as he hasn't been featuring a lot lately.
I hope this will be the team for that game @ OT next week:

------------------------------------------VDS-------------------------------------------

Wes Brown-------Rio Ferdinand-----------Nemanja Vidic--------Patrice Evra

C.Ronaldo---------Owen Hargreaves-----------Anderson-----------Luis Nani

----------------------Carlos Tevez--------------Wayne Rooney-------------------

Subs:PIG,JOS,Michael Carrick,Park & Louis Saha.

Giggs played great versus Villa as he contributed in both of the goals...i would like him to start over Nani

Giggs missed a really good chance, but he made up for it by coming back hard for some great def. tackles and a brilliant pass to ronaldo he should start. I really want our two pitbulls to start up front together. I really want to see us score more than 3 , our guys need a game like this to have fun ,we need to score early though!

I love that goal.

I was watching the game on TV and remember just sitting there for a split second absolutely stunned at what I'd just seen. Then, having realised I'd just witnessed one of the best volleys ever seen, I leapt out of my seat and when frickin' nuts!!!

Hopefully Rooney will start on Saturday. With their rubbish defence he should bag a hattrick

I think the line-up will be
- - - - - - - VDS - - - - - - - -
Brown Ferdinand Vidic Evra
Ronaldo Hargreaves Anderson Nani
Rooney Tevez

Bench
Kuz
Oshea
Carrick
Giggs
Saha

Going for a 1 nil win, newcastle aren't good this season but will like most lower table sides raise there game against united! 3 points is all that matters

I wont bother posting "a team" - it's irrelevant anyway - Fergie does all that

One thing I will like to see is Rooney playing......

Then we will also get a good performance from Ronaldo.

Take out the "Rooney Factor" and for some bizarre reason Ronnie seems to switch off.....

As for Newcastle.....

They are shambolic to be honest !!!

I very rarely predict, or ask for, much more than 2-0 or 3-0.....

But to be honest 4, 5 or even 6 goals against Newcastle right now would not surprise me.....

We'll see huh.............
