The ref wasn't crap - he was doing it on purpose! It was a testimonial game, what did you expect?

I remember Alan Shearer's testimonial when he hobbled on (he was injured) with a few minutes to go and asked the opposition to give away a penalty so he could score in front of the Newcastle fans, which they did.

Even Fergie was laughing about the penalty decisions. No one was taking the game seriously (except for Rooney. Lol). Ronaldo was doing tricks nearly everytime he got the ball, we changed our goalkeeper every 30 minutes and no one was really putting any serious tackles in (except for Rooney )

The fans seemed to enjoy themselves and I have to say that Al-Hilal's winner was a fantastic overhead kick - deserved to win the game. It's a real shame for Danny Wellbeck that he missed the last minute penalty but he had some good touches and a decent header on goal.

I totally agree with you. It was a testimonial match so the referee wanted Sami Al Jaber to score before he was substituted.

I think Fergie put it more diplomatically, "I didn't think we were ever going to win"

For this game United's agenda was ...

Fly out to Saudi ...

Trot around the pitch for 90 minutes ...

Then get home again ...

With £1,000,000 in the bank ...

Missions accomplished ...
