Anyone believe in the Illuminati? The Rothschilds come to mind. Jay-Z, Lady Gaga, Eminem, Beyonce, Rihanna and a host of other stars have had conspiracy theorists buzzing all over the net with the occult symbols in their latest videos. There seems to be a repetition of lyrics talking about a 'New world order', inverted pentagrams, the talk of robotics being the future, artists rehashing scenes and themes from the 1927 movie ' Metropolis', freemason imagery and such. I find it all intriguing . I know its been around for years, cats like Black Sabbath and most heavy metal bands have always had spooky imagery and lrics with hidden backwards messages and such...Aliester Crowley teachings. Does the occult run the entertainment industry?

Crowley was a lunatic but had some very convincing arguments. I don't believe in that stuff myself but I do find it interesting, basically for me it's just another form of religion that will undoubtedly have it's followers

One thing I don't find hard to believe is the strong possibility of a few powerful and rich men controlling the money supply of the world economies. The people who own the central banks. House of the Rothschilds own 5 of them. World leaders imo are simply puppets put in place by their masters to carry their grand agenda to confuse the masses and serve their never ending greed. Look up the Rothschilds and thier rise to prominence...makes very interesting reading!

The problem is though is the very clever use of conspiracy theories to distort the truth and add elements to make you doubt what is obviously true

I actually thought this was a possibility, but then I stumbled onto what people were saying about U2 and Bono.

When U2 came out with Zoo station, they were actually trying to convey to people that the powers that be were brainwashing them. All the lyrics in the songs and imagery used at concerts were trying to send the message "we are being manipulated".

And yet, the conspiracy buffs (many of whom are probably very young) seem totally ignorant of this fact and are saying Bono is Illuminati. I cringe.

They have montages of pop stars showing the peace sign and then try to educate us that it is a masonic hand sign. For crying out loud...it's a peace sign.

Other things you got to be weary of are photo-shopped pictures of world leaders showing the "devil" sign. You know..the one that James Dio is credited for popularizing. \m/.

Not all are fake, but a surprising number are.


Jay-Z and Kanye West are interesting though. The clothes and jewelry they wear are full of masonic symbols and also feature the Skull and Bones. it's debateable whether they are just using this imagery though.

I mean, if you belong to a secret society and/or "a society with secrets", do you really, really need to advertise it to the whole world?

Furthermore, a lot of conspiracy sites just tell you blatantly that the 'suspected' illuminati members are all members of skull and bones, freemasonary and the council on foreign relations, but there are very few cases of freemasons belonging to the other groups.

The conspiracy sites will say 'George W. Bush" confirmed freemason and skull and bones member, but he isn't a free mason. He is a Skull and Bones member though.

Only really came to my attention on the back of the Jay-Z mutterings... There's a school of thought that any press is good press and Jay-Z is perpetuating the roumours intentionally. By the same token, it could also be seen as a double-bluff...

Can't say I've formed a definitive opinion yet - but I'd say there usually isn't smoke without fire.

Since working in the City, I've come to realise that these money men (Rothschild, Buffett, the Sheiks et al) hold more power than Presidents / Prime ministers could dream of.

Indeed, a lot of these conspiracies are just mismatched, the Illuminati were a group of scientists
and intellectuals who fought against the Church's oppression, Freemasons are just strange
individuals who believe in strange symbols, the Skull and Bones Club is Yale's Bullingdon Club.

The Bilderberg Group conspiracy theory is credible to an extent, but I doubt they aim to take over
the world.

I think there is more to just artists doing this for hype and media attention. Hollywood seems to be controlled and run by fraternal bodies who want total control of thier 'product...artists'. A lot of the imagery we see in videos and movies are just experiments on mind control. You study the human mind and learn to push buttons and manipulate his spending habits. The system is designed for us to be dependent on it! They create wars for profit and finance both sides...then come up with the solution to the conflict they started to begin with and we are forced to accept it. Thats the New World Order. Artists are just vessels to subconsciously get thier messages across..the truth is hidden in plain sight. The devil horns, all seeing eyes in pyramids, the singers with 'evil' alter egos, they way they try to shape our culture and the way we think...the way they try to condition our minds to think of robotics when we think of the future...we're slaves
