Evans To Depart Old Trafford Set Up?

Manchester United player, Jonny Evans is reported to have aroused the interest of Newcastle United manager, Kevin Keegan.

Evans was on a successful loan spell at Sunderland last season and has since
returned to United. However, it was thought that Roy Keane and Sir Alex were to
talk about the possible transfer between the clubs as Keane was very impressed
with the Northern Ireland's attitude to training and performances on the pitch.

Keane is likely to be challenged by Keegan as he is apparently lining up a bid to
snatch the youngster and bring him up north.

Evans has found it hard to break into Ferguson's first team visions and the wily
old Scotsman may see fit to offload the 19 year old in a bid to give him some first
team opportunities.

Evans younger brother, Corry is currently fighting for places in United's Academy.
