Yeah Branson left school at 16 I think. My dad couldn't afford university, and even though he had the best results in his class they only gave grants to wealthy kids in that day (don't ask)

My Uncle started out as a tradesman (joiner) then started his own
construction company.
He sold it and went to work for the biggest shopfitter in Britain (Styles &
Wood) and has been the Project Director (big boss man) on erecting John
Lewis', Marks & Spencers, Royal Bank of Scotland (He built the new one in
Hardman Boulevard) etc etc. Then they sent him off to Dubai where he
stayed for about four months and then he got offered a better deal
