Friday night I drank:

3 Jack and Cokes
3 Pints of Busch Light
10 Pints of Mickey's (Yay Ireland!)

Needless to say, Saturday was not pleasant. My advice to everyone, is that energy drinks are AMAZING hangover cures.

Damn, I feel proud to drink like an Irishman! Truth be told, I can't handle more than 4 Guinness without feeling like I'm about to birth a child.

RedForceRising will become famous soon enough
one thing I gotta say is that for people, who drink a lot, "westerners" sure don't have a lot of good hangover food, but Chinese have wonderful hangover food.

There's porridge, loads of soupy noodle and dumplings.

All of which are easier to digest and better than stale fires and flat coke.

At least, that's what most of my class mates had

lol abo. thats quite a combo.

When was the first time you guys first experienced being drunk? I think i was 11. My father wanted me to see "what it was like to get drunk."

It didn't take too much till i was toasted. Then i went to sleep in the back of our car at a drive in.

I always used to get really bad hangovers but now I think I've found a cure

After a night out when I roll in about 4/4.30 I head straight for my sports bottle that can hold a litre of drink. I fill it with water and neck the stuff as fast as I can.

Once I've drank a litre, I fill it up again and drink it again but this time usually slower because I'm so bloated. Once I've had my two litres I usuually need a pee so head to the bathroom and do my stuff.

Next stop is bed where I just crash out instantly. I usually wake up in the night, maybe take another trip to the bathroom and sip a bit more water.

Then wake up the next day, usually about 12.30pm feeling great .

Don't know if drinking 2 litres of water will help anyone else but it does the trick for me and I havn't had a hangover for a good while because of it .

1, Drink fruit juice. It has a kind of sugar called fructose that helps the body burn alcohol faster.

2, Eat crackers and honey. Since honey is a very concentrated source of fructose, the honey is also able to help burn alcohol. Plus, eating a little bit in the morning is another way to flush out whatever the alcohol remains.

3, Get some pain relief. Take a pain killer.

4, Replenish your water supply. Alcohol causes dehydration of your body cells. Drinking plenty of water before you go to bed again when you get up in the morning after may help relieve discomfort caused by dehydration.

5, Take B complex vitamins. Drinking fluids drains the body of these valuable vitamins. It can also shorten the duration of a hang over.

6, Eat amino acids. Amino acids are building blocks of protein. Just like vitamins and minerals, they can also be depleted by use of alcohol. They can be available in capsule form in health food stores.

7, Have two cups of coffee. the coffee acts as a vasoconstrictor - meaning something that lessens swelling of blood vessels that cause headaches. A couple of cups can do a great deal to relieve the headaches associated with hangovers. But remember don't drink too much.

8, Eat a good meal. A balanced meal will replace the loss of essential nutrients. keep the meal light: no fats or fried foods.

or you could always just carry on drinking.
